Suburbia Shopping Center

Pottstown, Chester County, Pennsylvania

Since acquiring Suburbia Shopping Center in April 2025, High Real Estate Group has reinvigorated this vibrant, grocery-anchored retail destination serving the greater Pottstown market. Located along highly trafficked Pottstown Pike with direct access to Route 422, Suburbia offers excellent visibility and accessibility in one of Chester County’s strongest suburban corridors. Built in 2003, the 154,219-square-foot center spans 25.6 acres and serves a population of more than 67,000 residents within a five-mile radius.

A Strong Anchor and Long-Term Commitment

Suburbia is anchored by Giant, the dominant grocer in the Philadelphia MSA. Building on a major renovation by Giant and the successful addition of Starbucks, High extended Giant’s lease through 2035, plus additional options—reinforcing the grocer’s long-term commitment to both the center and the surrounding market.

Other notable tenants include Fitness 1440, Dollar Tree, CJs Tires, and numerous medical users, creating a well-rounded and community-focused tenant mix.

Investment in the Asset

High has made substantial capital improvements since acquisition, including:

  • Full parking lot resurfacing
  • Facade enhancements
  • Updated sidewalks and refreshed landscaping

These improvements elevate the customer experience while strengthening Suburbia’s curb appeal and long-term performance.

Leasing Momentum

Suburbia welcomed two new tenants in late 2025, Club Pilates and Fresh Monkee, and continues to build leasing momentum. High is actively marketing current vacancies to new retail and service users, while proudly maintaining strong relationships with existing tenants. We are thrilled to have renewed all tenants as their leases expire and grateful that they continue to make Suburbia the home for their businesses. High is honored to partner with these local and national brands as Suburbia continues to thrive as a neighborhood retail destination.
