Mr. Mowbray’s career began in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Legg Mason, where he helped structure capital raises and M&A transactions for various REITs and private real estate companies. In 2000, he left Legg Mason for a highly regarded, start-up technology firm to assist senior management with a $52 million round of venture capital financing, one of the largest private venture raises ever in the Philadelphia region.
Prior to joining High, Mr. Mowbray worked for Jefferson Apartment Group (formerly JPI) as its Director of Acquisitions, pursuing opportunistic and core multifamily acquisitions. In 2011, he left Jefferson Apartment Group to join the Silverwood Companies as its Vice President of Investments. Notable projects included winning an RFP to partner with Safeway on the redevelopment of one of their stores, entitlement and sale of a 417 unit apartment development project, as well as the off-market acquisition of a newly constructed apartment complex.
Mr. Mowbray received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Richmond, in addition to obtaining a minor in Leadership Studies. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and Urban Land Institute. Additionally, Mr. Mowbray has served on several Housing panels focused on creating new zoning ordinances and affordable housing initiatives.
Tina M. McGinnis is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the High Associates Ltd. residential portfolio which encompasses 2,035 apartments, townhomes and manufactured homes. During her tenure she has overseen the introduction of a several new product types to the market.
Having begun her real estate career in the Harrisburg/Hershey market area in 1991, Mrs. McGinnis worked her way through the levels of property management, including roles as a rental consultant, assistant manager, commercial property manager, community manager and finally marketing manage. Mrs. McGinnis joined the High organization in 2001 as the District Property Manager for the Bentley Ridge Community in Lancaster. In 2007, she was promoted to Regional Residential Manager and additionally assumed the responsibility to oversee the operation of all of High’s Pennsylvania residential holdings, including Greenfield Estates in Lancaster, the newly developed Orchard Ridge in Pottstown, and the manufactured housing community of Eastwood Village. In 2013, Mrs. McGinnis took over operational responsibility for the entire High Residential portfolio which includes York Ridge in Charlotte, NC and Plantation Oaks and Westbury Mews in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. McGinnis attended Penn State University. She also holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salespersons License and earned her Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designations.
Active in business and community activities through her leadership roles in various associations and organizations, Mrs. McGinnis’ past service includes National Apartment Association of Central Pennsylvania serving as Education Chair, Treasurer , Vice President and President in 2014.
Mrs. McGinnis serves on the Pennsylvania Apartment Association since 2006. and is currently a member of Lancaster County Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
