Overview:
The Crossings at Conestoga Creek is High Real Estate Group's mixed use project that brought Wegmans to Lancaster County. Located at US. RT 30 and Harrisburg Pike in Lancaster County, The Crossings encompasses 200,000 square feet of premier grocery anchored retail space, 254 apartments, a 127 room Residence Inn and a 40,000 square foot Penn State Health Pedatric Center.
High Real Estate Group’s patient, strategic approach resulted in this $120 million mixed-use project at Lancaster’s western gateway, and placed the renowned, award-winning Wegmans food market at its heart.
A Main Street-oriented, mixed-use development proximate to Franklin & Marshall College, The Crossings combines retail, hospitality, multi-family residential and medical office components in a fun, pedestrian-friendly design. It is a memorable place with intimate settings where people can enjoy dining, exercising and relaxing with friends and family.
The Crossings reflects High’s commitment to smart growth, which concentrates development within the urban growth corridor while contributing to the preservation of farmland and incorporating best management practices. The project improvements greatly enhanced the corridor of Harrisburg Pike into Lancaster City. High worked collaboratively with municipal, County, and regional governing bodies to change the Manheim Township’s zoning ordinance to allow for high-density mixed-use, making it possible for The Crossings to be developed. In the Lancaster market, The Crossings is the first of its kind: a cool, convenient place for shopping and dining, with upscale apartment homes, a nationally flagged, extended stay format hotel, and recreational connectivity.
